This picture is only significant in so much that it is my proof that I was up and at 'em at 5:45AM once. I stuck the camera out the front door and snapped this shot, as the rising sun made the sign look particularly orange. Actually I was up for about an hour before I decided to go back to bed and get up at a more reasonable time. Baby steps my friends.

This is Team New Zealand killing Team USA in the International Beach Volleyball Tournament. The green hill in the background is the Mount, before mentioned home of the Blue Penguins. Also the vantage point from which this fantastic panorama was taken by Archie.

We went on a Blue Penguin search around the Mount the other day. We didn't see any, but I am determined, before we leave, to see with my own eyes these so-called penguins that share my same zip code.

Since we don't have a board yet, we are still sand bound. The next creature might be a crab; I think Archie wants to come to terms with his fear/disgust of them. We'll see...
